When can I play FIFA 23 in the United States?

The FIFA 23 release time in the United States for players purchasing the standard edition of the game is nearly upon us, while those who've dropped a little extra on the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition get to enjoy three days early access.

This is one of the most highly anticipated editions of the game ever as it marks the second installment on next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, but it's also the final version of FIFA as we know it before rebranding to EA SPORTS FC for 2024.

FIFA 23 release time in the United States

If you purchased the FIFA 23 Ultimate edition ($99.99), the FIFA 23 release time is midnight on Tuesday, September 27, in your local time zone. The Ultimate edition comes with a lot of extra FUT goodies. 

The standard edition FIFA 23 release time is midnight on Friday, September 30, in your local time zone. Tell everyone you've got plans this weekend. The standard edition costs $59.99 on PS4/Xbox One and $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

What's new in FIFA 23?

Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond are in the game. Women's club teams make a debut. Power Shots. There's expanded crossplay. After providing the biggest gameplay difference last last, HyperMotion2 takes things a step further with more true-to-life animations than ever before. 

We've also been promised changes to Career Mode, the matchday experience (new replays) and FUT, as well as free World Cup mode updates for both the upcoming men's event and the women's competition next summer in Australia and New Zealand.
