André-Pierre Gignac Becomes Tigres' All-Time Top Goalscorer

The elusive 105th goal was inevitable for the Frenchman.

In a game that looked set to end goalless, André-Pierre Gignac came up big — as he alwasy has for Tigres — and scored an 89th-minute winner versus Pumas on Sunday night. It was his 105th goal for the Monterrey club, making him the team's outright top goalscorer in its history.

Leading up to the game, Gignac was tied at 104 goals with Tomás Boy, the current Chivas Guadalajara head coach. The two actually faced off last Sunday in a heated encounter as Chivas upset Tigres 2-0.

Since arriving in the summer of 2015, Gignac has spearheaded Tigres' attack under manager Ricardo "Tuca" Feretti. The striker has led the team to four Liga MX titles since his arrival and enamored himself to Tigres fans
