Watch: Endrick purposely knees opponent in the privates and gets away with only a yellow card

Endrick has only received one red card in his career, however he should’ve seen his second on Tuesday during Real Madrid’s 3-2 victory vs. Alavés.

In the 83rd minute the 18-year-old was shown a yellow card for a skirmish with defender Santiago Mouriño. A look at the replay shows that the Madrid phenom was lucky to stay on the field.

Endrick blatantly launched a knee to the groin of Mouriño in a rush of blood.

Alavés’ manager Luis Garcia Plaza was outraged with the incident and said that Endrick should’ve been given his marching orders.

"It's a red card," Garcia Plaza said during the press conference after the game. "We should have played the last 10 minutes against 10 men.

"It's a clear red, nobody can say it wasn't. If the referee didn't see it, that's what the VAR is for. Maybe they got more yellows than they should have, but for Endrick, it's a red."

How VAR missed this incident is beyond us. We guess removing an opponent’s ability to reproduce isn’t a red card offense.

Endrick's other red card in his career came in 2023 while on the bench for Palmeiras. During a Copa Libertadores game he kicked a ball away from an opponent trying to take a quick throw-in and saw red for his actions.
