This fall The18 and the National Peanut Board toured six different college campuses to present students with exciting soccer challenges and celebrate the role peanuts play in fueling performance and recovery.
The Fuel Zone challenged students with soccer darts as well as vert jump. The goal was to find which campus had all the makings of a quality striker. Two events, all comers, highest aggregate score wins. Check out what happened.
Fuel Zone Tour 2025
After a fierce competition and fun rivalries across campuses, the six big winners representing their universities are official. A special thanks to the hundreds of students who participated in the Fuel Zone and being part of the Health Nut Club.
Scores were calculated by combining each student’s soccer dart score and their vertical jump.

Each of our six champions took home the glory AND a brand new flat screen TV. Hundreds of students went home with Fuel Boxs (we gave out almost 1,000 during Fuel Zone events in 2025), a custom-designed shoebox filled with peanut snacks and soccer-inspired merch. All in all, we have more than 32,000 participants in the broader Health Nut Club events on campsus, and millions more saw it online.
