'You talk too much': Dani Carvajal and Vini Jr. confront Lamine Yamal following El Clásico win

Real Madrid finally got their revenge over FC Barcelona with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabéu, ending a run of four straight defeats to their bitter rivals in the 2024-25 season.

The win, led by a stellar performance from Jude Bellingham, puts Los Blancos five points clear at the top of the LaLiga table.

Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring midway through the first half, capping off a dazzling solo run with a clinical finish after having an earlier goal controversially ruled out for offside. The French star, one of the most in-form players in the world, tailled his 12th goal in nine matches against the blaugranas.

Barcelona, however, responded quickly through Fermin López, who took advantage of a rare mistake from Arda Güler, pouncing on a recovered ball from Pedri to fire past Thibaut Courtois and level the match. Marcus Rashford contributed with the assist.

But, Madrid, like Barcelona, wasted little time in responding and restoring their lead — Jude Bellingham tapped home just minutes before halftime after beautiful cross from Vini that ended at the feet of Bellingham, who scored one of the easiest goals of his career.

The second half brought even more drama. Real Madrid were awarded a penalty after Eric García handled the ball during a slide tackle, but Mbappé’s spot kick was denied — his first miss from the spot all season. Despite the setback, Xabi Alonso's men held firm defensively to secure a statement victory in the title race.

The final whistle also brought a series of pushes and shoves between the clubs, led by Lamine Yamal and Vini Jr. who exchanged words as they walked towards the locker room. Dani Carvajal, who was said to wanted to speak to Yamal following some comments ahead of El Clásico, appeared to have signaled that the young FC Barcelona phenom had 'spoken too much.'

With this win, Real Madrid not only reclaim bragging rights in El Clásico but also take a crucial five-point lead over Barcelona.
