Real Betis forward Antony received great news on Wednesday when he learned he will be eligible for his side’s match vs. Real Madrid on Saturday after winning a red card appeal.
Antony was sent off in his last LaLiga game vs. Getafe with a straight red card following a tackle on Getafe's Juan Iglesias. Betis appealed to the Spanish Football Federation and won, meaning Antony is cleared to face off against Los Blancos.

The referee from the Getafe game reported that Antony used excessive force and had no intention of playing the ball when he made his tackle on Iglesias.
Betis appealed with video evidence and won the case.

Antony is on loan from Manchester United and has had a rebirth in LaLiga. The 25-year-old has scored three goals and provided two assists in his first six Betis appearances.
At this point it’s almost impossible to root against the guy after such a dreadful spell with Manchester United. With how well he’s been performing you almost want to bet on him scoring against Real Madrid on Saturday.
