Is Sydney Leroux pregnant again?!
Seismic activity was detected in the social media world recently when American soccer power couple Sydney Leroux Dwyer and Dom Dwyer announced they are expecting their second child. The Orlando Pride forward released the big news via her Instagram account with this hilarious picture worth a thousand words.
The Dwyers welcomed Cassius, the level-headed angel pictured above, in September 2016. He's been busy in just over 2 years of life, keeping up an entertaining Instagram account, maintaining his status as Orlando Pride and City's No. 1 and, as of recently, dabbling in some soccer himself.
Leroux Dwyer’s first pregnancy came off the back of the 2015 Women’s World Cup victory and she made a strong return to the NWSL in 2017 with FC Kansas City before being traded to Orlando where her husband also plies his trade in Major League Soccer. The two have been key players for their respective clubs and big personalities in the American soccer scene.
The news will see Leroux Dwyer miss the entire 2019 NWSL season, meaning the Pride are going to have to start thinking about who will link up with likes of Alex Morgan and Marta in the purple attack.
It’s hard to imagine this clan getting any cuter but get ready for a whole new level of Halloween costumes and a fresh victim of parental pranks.
