Christian Pulisic receives death threats from angry Lazio fans after getting two players sent off

Christian Pulisic is now one of Lazio fans’ most hated players after he drew two red cards against the club on Friday during AC Milan's 1-0 victory.

The incident that the Lazio faithful are the most upset about was Pulisic drawing a second yellow card on Luca Pellegrini who wanted play to stop for an injured player. There was no whistle so Pulisic kept playing.

The anger from Lazio supporters has taken a gross twist as they flocked to Pulisic’s Instagram leaving threats and hate.

Pulisic Lazio fans leaving hate comments

The comments ranged from typical insults to wishing death upon him and his family. Disgusting stuff from those involved.

In response to the cruel comments the United States men’s national team star has received a tidal wave of support to flush out the hate.

AC Milan put out a post in support of the American.

Milan star Theo Hernández jokingly commented “Puliiiii I am your security” on the American's Instagram.

More of Pulisic’s Milan teammates like Yunus Musah and Tijjani Reijnders also left positive remarks.

From an outside perspective it doesn’t seem like Pulisic is too bothered from the Lazio fans. He was seen on Milan and former Chelsea teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s Instagram story on Saturday hanging out.

While the threats aren’t welcome, you must be doing something right on the field if another team/fanbase despises you that much. Pulisic was one of Milan’s best players against Lazio and continues his excellent form this season.

Pulisic has scored eight goals and provided seven assists so far this season.
