We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: the AS Roma Twitter feed is the best account in the business. If you don’t follow @ASRomaEN on Twitter, you may as well give up internetting. 

As ever, 2018 was a great year for the Roma Twitter account. With the year now over, the Roma admins ranked their top 50 tweets from 2018.

What transpired was a thread of 50 tweets from @ASRomaEN that were pure gold, highlighting the brilliant year the Twitter account had (and a decent year for the squad on the pitch, too).

Roma (the soccer team) finished third in Serie A in 2018 and reached the semifinals of the Champions League with an epic comeback against Barcelona. Along the way, the club had transfer drama, ludicrous highlight videos and plenty of banter.

Roma used a "Friends"-style nomenclature for each of its 50 tweets, highlighting more quality banter in the past year than you’ll see in 50 years from any English club. 

We here at The18 don't necessarily agree with the order in which Roma ranked these tweets (the yodeling one should've been higher and No. 47 was ranked criminally low), but they're all fantastic nonetheless.
