Watch: Weston McKennie provides absurd long-distance assist from his own half

Weston McKennie made his 100th appearance for Juventus on Saturday during the club’s 3-1 victory vs. Lazio. He was involved in all three of Juve’s goals and provided a beauty of an assist on the third.

The American midfielder was coming off fantastic performances for the United States men’s national team and kept that form going.

During the game vs. Oman, McKennie was showing off his incredible accuracy with his long passes. He showed that skill again on Saturday when he launched the ball 50+ yards on a dot to Juve forward Dusan Vlahovic in the 67th minute.

Beautiful stuff from the man who was originally not in Juventus’ plans this season.

McKennie was also involved in the build-up of the club’s first two goals on Saturday.

McKennie played 72 minutes and was substituted out of the game for his fellow American teammate Timothy Weah.

Juventus sit second in Serie A behind Inter Milan and will be back in action vs. Sassuolo on Saturday.
