Christian Pulisic hits consecutive double-digit scoring seasons in 2-0 win over Venezia

He's Captain America for a reason, baby.

Christian Pulisic has confirmed his strong run of form for AC Milan, scoring his 10th Serie A goal of the season in a composed 2-0 away victory over Venezia.

The American winger opened the scoring just five minutes into the match, finishing coolly into the bottom corner after a clever assist from Youssouf Fofana inside the box.

The goal marked Pulisic’s second consecutive season with double-digit goals in Serie A, and it also brought his total goal contributions for Milan to 50 since joining the club three seasons ago.

His early strike set the tone for a match that Milan largely controlled, though they couldn’t extend their lead until late.

With just a one-goal cushion heading into stoppage time, it was January signing Santiago Giménez who put the result beyond doubt. The Mexican forward, continuing to impress in his first months with the club, latched onto a through ball and delicately chipped the ball over the Venezia keeper to seal all three points.

This win puts AC Milan five points away from securing a spot in European competition next season, with four games remaining on the calendar.
