UPDATE: Christian Pulisic has put an end to the rumors on social media, commenting on an Instagram post regarding the rumored and now "fake" relationship between the USMNT forward and Sydney Sweeney.

The AC Milan forward also took the time to post a story on Instagram following his goal and win on Sunday against Hellas Verona, pleading people to stop with the fake stories on his personal life.

Rumor: Christian Pulisic dating Sydney Sweeney
Recent rumors circulating out of Italy have linked USMNT and AC Milan attacker Christian Pulisic to American actress Sydney Sweeney. Yes, you heard correctly.

The speculation gained notable traction after multiple media outlets, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, Italy’s highly regarded sports daily, reported that the two Americans had allegedly been dating for the past couple of weeks.

Is Christian Pulisic actually dating Sydney Sweeney?
No.
Despite the prominent rumor from various media outlets, there is little concrete evidence to support the claim, and several factors strongly suggest the story is no more than unfounded rumor.
Pulisic has been in a public relationship with American professional golfer Alexa Melton since 2024. The pair “hard-launched” their relationship last year, appearing together in multiple social media posts and videos - even going on a 'romantic' vacation following the 2024 Copa América.

Notably, those posts remain live, and there has been no indication from either party of a breakup. In the absence of any official announcement or visible change in their public presence, there is no verified basis to suggest that Pulisic and Melton are no longer together.

Logistics also cast significant doubt on the rumor. Pulisic is based in Milan, where he is in the middle of a demanding season with AC Milan, while Sweeney has been actively in the United States promoting her film projects and attending industry events.
Given their respective professional schedules and geographic separation, it seems highly unlikely that the two would have had the time or opportunity to form a relationship in recent weeks.
