Al Hilal defeated Premier League giants Manchester City 4-3 in the Club World Cup on Monday in one of the most entertaining games of the tournament. A Yassine Bounou save vs Man City has everyone talking.
Manchester City nearly doubled their 1-0 lead in the 24th minute, however Bounou came up with a mind boggling save to deny Savinho.
The Moroccan goalkeeper appeared defeated on his back, but then extended his left arm toward goal to make an unbelievable stop.

That’s some of the best goalkeeping you will ever see. Bounou would finish Monday’s game with 10 SAVES to complete the upset against the Euro giants.
Initially I was stunned at Bounou’s performance, but then reality clicked in. This wasn’t some underdog goalkeeper making a name for himself.
This is 2022 World Cup icon Yassine Bounou.
The same goalkeeper who posted clean sheets against Belgium, Croatia, Spain and Portugal on the sport’s biggest stage. The same guy who went into a penalty shootout against SPAIN and didn’t let one ball go into the net.
He may be 34 years old, but he’s just as good as ever and has now helped a team from the Saudi Pro League advance to the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup.
Up next for Al Hilal will be a showdown against Brazilian side Fluminense.
