An insane Cristiano Ronaldo goal vs Armenia from distance was one of two CR7 goals on Saturday during Portugal’s 5-0 World Cup qualifier victory. The pair of goals boosted the 40-year-old’s career tally to 942. He simply can’t stop scoring.
Ronaldo is making a serious case to be included in Portugal’s 2026 World Cup squad as he continues to provide goals for the national team. He'll be 41 when the 2026 World Cup begins.
His latest two goals included a close-range effort to double his side’s lead in the first half. A dangerous Pedro Neto cross found the outstretched foot of Ronaldo who finished coolly and hit his signature celebration.
He then bagged his second with an outside-the-box screamer that proved too hot to handle for the keeper.

Ronaldo has more international goals than any men’s player in history. Saturday’s brace was his 139th and 140th goals in a Portugal shirt.
No one loves a goal against Armenia more than CR7 as he now has seven goals in his five games against them.
Ronaldo wasn't the only Portuguese player to score twice as João Félix also secured a brace. João Cancelo scored Portugal's third goal in the 32nd minute and celebrated with a tribute to Diogo Jota.
