José Mourinho is taking Türkiye by storm in his first season at the head of Fenerbahce and the Portuguese manager just gave us another clip to add to his never-ending file of iconic moments. He needs to practice his knee slides.
During Fenerbahçe’s Turkish Süper Lig away match against Trabzonspor on Sunday, the closing minutes of the game saw both clubs looking for the three points through a momentary 2-2 result.
A corner kick from Fenerbahce with seconds until the final whistle saw Mourinho’s men be denied a penalty complete the comeback in the final play of the match. What seemed like a clear handball was not sent to the VAR.
2022 World Cup Morocco star and former Manchester United player, Sofyan Amrabat, however, appeared for the away side inside the box, drilling a pass to the penalty spot into the net. Mourinho’s reaction? Absolutely phenomenal.

Shortly after Amrabat’s winner, the Portuguese ran onto the pitch and attempted a knee slide that was cut short by getting stuck into the grass and forcing Mourinho to front flip into a hug with Fenerbahce keeper Dominik Livakovic.

The former Premier League manager’s ecstatic celebrations continued after the match, with the 61-year-old addressing the home fans on his way into the dressing room and having an incredible eight-minute post-match interview complaining about the referee, VAR and the league.
José Mourinho, after today's 3-2 win:
"I blame the Fenerbahce board, they only told me half of what was going on in here [Galatasaray's corruption]. If they had told me everything, I wouldn't have come."Insane situation.pic.twitter.com/4TgUGGTHjh
