Watch: Brandon Vázquez scores incredible header vs. Atletico San Luis

We can’t remember the last time we’ve seen a header scored from this far of a distance from goal.

At just the 15th minute, a curled-cross from the left flank, found by Vázquez at the edge of the 18-yard-box, ended in one of the most insane headed finishes we’ve seen in a long time.

The parabola on the ball. The top-bins. What a goal.

This was just one of two goals the former Cincinnati man scored Saturday night, with the American regaining La Pandilla’s lead just minutes after conceding to San Luis to double his tally.

Seven minutes after losing the lead, a great pass from teammate Jorge Rodríguez to Vázquez left the striker clear on goal and with nothing left but a cool finish to seal his first brace in Mexico.

Calm, cool and collected.

The American's double would go on to help Monterrey win the game 3-1, with Vázquez named as the game's MVP.

Vázquez and his team will now prepare their next league duel against champions Club América on Saturday at the Estadio Azteca.
