EAFC 24 accidentally leaks next season’s MLS kits in massive blunder

Video game EAFC 24 — formerly known as the FIFA video games — created a PR nightmare on Saturday when the game accidentally leaked a number of 2024 MLS kits. The MLS kits leaked include 18 teams.

In the popular game mode Ultimate Team players create their own teams using existing players, club badges and kits.

The Ultimate Team mode accidentally released a number of 2024 MLS kits that hadn’t officially been revealed yet.

This is truly a worst-case scenario for the designers of those kits and the content creators for the teams. Designing and revealing new kits is an excruciating and exciting process. To have all the hard work spoiled from a mistake like this is devastating.

None of the clubs, MLS or EAFC have publicly commented on the goof yet. Needless to say, there are likely some unpleasant conversations happening between those in charge of the video game and the clubs.

On the bright side many of the new kits look great.
