Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be on his way out of Los Angeles and heading to the beautiful Buenos Aires. The 37 year-old is aging like fine wine in professional soccer, scoring 28 goals and assisting 6 in 27 appearances. Since he joined the Galaxy last year, there were a number of rumors that the Swede wanted to leave the club: specifically a Manchester United return was possible. But now it sounds confirmed that Zlatan really does want a change of scenery.
Zlatan took a 95 percent pay cut coming to LA from Manchester United, and now a certain team in Buenos Aires are looking to bring him in and are likely to pay him more. Boca Juniors have ramped up their interest in Ibra, and Chairman Jorge Anro went record by saying that Boca are in a good position to sign him.
“The club is in a very good moment as a business. So much so that we will be able to afford the luxuries. We would be able to pay Zlatan’s contract.”
This could be good news for Zlatan and his agent Mino Raiola who apparently offered Zlatan to the Argentine giants. Raiola denies these claims, but Anro’s comments say otherwise. And for Zlatan, he’ll be playing in arguably a better league than MLS if he chooses to leave. A good and passionate club to retire with, if any, would be Boca Juniors.
