A wild scene took place in the Bolivian top flight on Sunday when fans launched a firework onto the field and hit a player.
Juan Godoy, who plays as a forward for The Strongest, had to be removed from the game in stoppage time when his groin got ROCKED by a firework. We’re talking about a direct hit on the no-no square.

It’s important to note that The18 WOULD NEVER condone such reckless, dangerous and violent behavior from the fans. Had that firework been a few feet higher, Godoy could’ve been seriously hurt, blinded or worse.
With that said… you got to admit that was an incredible shot. We’re not sure if the Bolivian Armed Forces are hiring or not, but it would seem they have a sleeper agent sniper hiding amongst the fans in Hernando Siles Stadium.
Godoy’s side held on to win 3-2 with the firework victim scoring one of his side’s goals.
