John Wick 3 Cast Includes Messi, Ronaldo and Jorgensen As Villains

When Denmark and Croatia fell into a penalty shootout after a 1-1 deadlock, Denmark’s Nicolai Jorgensen failed to deliver. With that failure, the 27-year-old doomed himself to the role of a lifetime: the third villain in the next John Wick flick.

Jorgenson also received an alarming amount of online abuse — the Danish Football Association (DFA) even reported death threats!

On Tuesday, the Danish FA tweeted this:

“STOP. Our society must never accept death threats-not against World Cup stars, politicians or anyone else. That is totally unacceptable and indecent. We are reporting the matters to the police to put an end to this madness.”

Denmark also tweeted pictures of an oddly happy national team given its relegation from the World Cup.

After two Danes missed during the shootout with Croatia (Christian Eriksen and Lasse Schone), Jorgensen became the added player to a hat-trick of missed penalties. With the score at 3-2 (so Denmark’s last chance to equalize and regain some leverage), Jorgensen shot dead center, which proved an easy block for Croatian goalie Danijel Subasic.

But not to worry dear Danish fans, Jorgensen now joins an elite team of penalty-missing players in the next John Wick.

The Feyenoord FC striker was welcomed by Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina’s Leo Messi — both were instantly cast after missing against Iran and Iceland respectively.

Here’s a quick reminder of Messi and Ronaldo’s botched penalty kicks.

What’s the plot to this new action packed goldmine of a movie, you wonder? Quite simple really, John Wick’s “dog with no name,” aka Clint Eastwood’s doppelgänger in the animal kingdom, was cheering for the three teams yet was severely disappointed. Given the endless sorrow Wick’s dog must endure, vengeance against the penalty-missing stooges is now an inevitable blockbuster.

It’s either that or Wick runs an underground nutmeg tournament for all the players who missed penalties at the World Cup. Loser’s punished with grisly action scenes and have their reputation tarnished forever (hello Eric Cantona).

However, the winner gets an immediate spot in John Wick 4, where they suffer a worse fate than all the losers: being cast into a sequel. Sorry Keanu Reeves, please don’t hurt me.
