Cruz Azul And Seattle Sounders Join The Party: These Are The 2022 CCL Quarterfinal Games

After solid performances in their homes, Cruz Azul and Seattle Sounders got the last two tickets for the 2022 Concacaf Champions League's quarterfinals round on Thursday night.

Cruz Azul vs. Forge FC Highlights

La Máquina didn't go full steam against the Canadian team, but the 3-1 (4-1 aggregate) was enough to show they are one of the stronger candidates to lift the trophy.

Paraguayan Ángel Romero had his first goal for the club while his compatriot added a fantastic header to the scoreboard. The banger of the night, though, came off the right foot of Rafael Baca, who is becoming a long-range shooting maestro.

As a consolation prize, David Choinière scored Forge's first goal ever in the tournament.

Seattle Sounders vs. Motagua Highlights

After the 0-0 draw in the first leg, a lot of people were expecting a tight game at Lumen Field. However, Motagua was barely able to resist the Sounders attack for about 30 minutes. Then, Uruguayan Nicolás Lodeiro unleashed the beast, and the MLS team ended up winning 5-0.

Cristian Roldan, our boy Jordan Morris, Kelyn Rowe and Leó Chú were also on the scoreboard.
