Palmeiras Striker Gets Some Compound V And Delights ‘The Boys’ Cast With Bicycle Kick

The cast of the Amazon Prime superhero show "The Boys" is visiting Brazil for promotional purposes, and taking advantage of the fact, football club Palmeiras decided to invite the actors to a quintessential Copa Libertadores night, in which Palmeiras destroyed Cerro Porteño 5-0.

The whole night was a blast for Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Karen Fukuhara and the rest of the actors that attended Allianz Parque.

Before the game, they stepped onto the field and shared a few minutes with coach Abel Ferreira and star striker Rony before heading to a VIP box to enjoy the show Palmeiras put on.

El Verdão steamrolled the Paraguayan side, scoring through a Brian Zamnudio own goal, a Gustavo Gomez header, a solid strike from Breno Lopez and a brace from Rony, who crowned the exhibition with a superb bicycle kick.

Rony is kind of famous in Brazil for trying bicycle kicks and failing, but with "The Boys" in attendance last night — and maybe a dose of compound V in the blood — he finally succeeded.

And, of course, the special guests celebrated accordingly.

The victory moved Palmeiras to the Copa Libertadores quarterfinals. The opponent is still TBD, but the dream of getting a third consecutive title keeps going.
