Ronaldo has more professional goals than any player in history and is on a mission to hit 1,000 before he retires. The 40-year-old shows no signs of slowing as Tuesday’s goal was his 25th of the season across all competitions.
He could’ve had a second goal in the final seconds when he won a penalty kick for his side. Ronaldo took a free kick that was blocked by the arm of an Al Wehda player.
After a VAR review Al Nassr were awarded the penalty, however Ronaldo surprisingly handed the ball to Sadio Mané who scored from the spot.

Mané was on a near two-month goal drought with his last for Al Nassr coming on Jan. 9.
Ronaldo still takes the lead in the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot race as he surpasses his former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema. Ronaldo has 17 goals in 19 league appearances while Benzema has 16 goals in 20 appearances.
Ronaldo comfortably won the award last season with 35 goals in the league.
Al Nassr sit third in the Saudi Pro League.
