Érick Gutiérrez Scores Great Goal, Assists Chucky Lozano Within 5 Minutes Of PSV Debut

Welcome to the Netherlands, Érick Gutiérrez.

Gutiérrez, a Mexico international midfielder, reunited with former Pachuca winger Hirving Lozano in the Eredivisie when PSV Eindhoven signed the 23-year-old just before the transfer deadline in August.

He made his debut on Saturday, coming on as a substitute against ADO Den Haag.

Five minutes later, he had assisted his compatriot and scored a cracking goal.

Let’s go through the Erick Gutierrez PSV debut minute by minute.

In the 70th minute, Gutiérrez came on for Pablo Rosario.

In the 73rd minute, Gutiérrez played a perfect lofted through ball into the path of Lozano, whose leaping volley made it 4-0. It was Lozano’s second goal of the match and sixth of the season in all competitions.

The Mexican teammates celebrated just like they used to do while at Pachuca, in Super Saiyan Fusion fashion.

They’re totally adorable, aren’t they?

To cap things off, in the 75th minute, five minutes after the Erick Gutierrez PSV debut, the midfielder scored his first goal with a rocket into the top corner.

At the rate he was on, assuming he started and played the full 90 of the remainder of PSV’s Eredivisie matches this season, Gutiérrez was on pace to score 522 goals and make 522 assists.

Granted, Gutiérrez cooled down and fail to record any goals or assists over the remaining 15 minutes of the match, even though PSV went on to win 7-0. Thus, his expected goals and assists for the rest of the year dropped to a pallid 130 apiece.

And before you start wondering, here’s the video of Chucky’s first goal, where he capitalized on some pretty piss-poor play from ADO Den Haag.
