Kylian Mbappé’s Trying To Make Ligue 1 More Difficult By Signing Autographs During Games

On Friday, Kylian Mbappé celebrated his 21st birthday. On Saturday, it was Mbappé who was providing the gifts with two glorious goals during PSG’s 4-1 win over Amiens SC and a signed book for a young pitch-invader.

Bored with dominating Ligue 1 with his natural hair color, Mbappé debuted a new color against Amiens while Neymar went with a clip-on Padawan braid. It was Neymar who provided the assist on Mbappé’s opener, and the Brazilian would add a goal of his own to double PSG’s advantage. Mbappé would make it three in the 65th minute by smashing one in at the near post.

In the 90th minute — with PSG leading 4-1 and only four minutes of stoppage time added — a tearful child made his way onto the pitch in search of Mbappé. The World Cup-winner greeted him with a hug before escorting him to the sideline while signing a book that the boy produced from his jacket.

PSG has a seven-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 and maintains a game in hand on second-place Marseille. The club’s season starts for real on Feb. 18 with its Champions League Round of 16 matchup against Borussia Dortmund.
