United States men’s national team and Celtic center back Cameron Carter-Vickers put on a fantastic audition for playing as a forward on Saturday with a sensational long distance goal vs. Kilmarnock.
In the 21st minute the American defender unleashed a fierce strike from distance that nobody saw coming. Carter-Vickers found himself in a pocket of space and decided to try a shot. And what a shot it was.

Congratulations Carter-Vickers, you’ve now been promoted to starting striker for the national team.
Saturday’s goal was his first in the league this season, but honestly that one should be worth at least 10 for how exquisite it was.
