Mario Balotelli went off on the final day of the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday. The Italian scored five goals, but it was the final Balotelli goal vs Goztepe that set the internet on fire.
Balotelli’s Adana Demirspor crushed relegated Goztepe 7-0 on Sunday in a match that meant little for either side. Demirspor was stuck in mid-table regardless of the outcome, and Goztepe had long since been relegated.
That didn’t stop the home side from putting on a show, especially Balotelli, who had a hat trick by halftime.
With his team already leading by six and four goals to his name, Balotelli turned on the style, doing his best FIFA Street impression with a ridiculous goal featuring seven stepovers and a rabona finish. That’s about four stepovers more than you’ll ever see in FIFA.

Cristiano Ronaldo could never.
With that golazo, Balotelli became the first player to score five goals in a Super Lig match since Alex de Souza did it in 2011. He also became the front-runner for the Puskás Award.
It was 10 years ago that Balotelli set up Sergio Agüero for a dramatic title-winning goal while playing for Manchester City. That feels like a lifetime ago, but Balotelli is still out there making plays for his team. And Man City is still out there winning Premier League trophies in dramatic fashion.
