Watch: Matty Cash interviewed by his sister Hannah after Aston Villa’s UCL game

One of the most wholesome moments from the Champions League quarterfinals came after the Aston Villa vs. PSG game. Following the final whistle a Matty Cash interview with his sister went viral.

Hannah Cash, who is a reporter for CBS, was the one to interview her older brother and Villa right back. The questioning ended with a heartwarming moment as the two exchanged a hug with Hannah saying she’s proud of Matty.

Unfortunately for Cash he was subbed out at halftime after receiving an early yellow card trying to defend against eventual game MVP Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

While the 3-1 PSG win wasn't the result Cash hoped for, he still had a moment he’ll likely never forget with the interview.

It’s worth taking a moment to acknowledge another CBS masterclass. Coverage of soccer in the United States has taken so many steps in the past decade with CBS leading the charge. The network has put together an all-star cast with Kate Scott, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards.

On top of the cast and extensive coverage, CBS capitalizes on moments so well. Whichever producer thought to fly Hannah out to Paris for the game deserves to take a bow.

Hannah and Matty had crossed over before on CBS.

To have the two meet again, in person, on a Champions League night was a stroke of genius and has created a viral moment the entire soccer community is talking about.

Congratulations to Hannah and CBS for a memorable interview.
