FC Zürich held on to defeat Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 in a top-of-the-table clash in Group A of the Europa League on Thursday at Letzigrund Stadion in Switzerland. That the Swiss club was able to beat the German side came down to one moment in the 94th minute, which will distract from the club’s rally from being down 2-1 in the second half.

Cristiano Ronaldo was full of flicks and tricks early on in his first visit to Old Trafford since joining Juventus. He made Ashley Young look silly with an early move and even had an admirer invade the pitch  to see him (though he was tackled before he reached the former Manchester United winger.

Then Ronaldo made an actual imprint on the game, setting up Juventus’ first goal in the 17th minute.

When Brazil and Argentina play, there is an expectation for attractive football. But Tuesday’s edition of Brazil vs Argentina highlights left a lot to be desired.

Just four shots were placed on target during the friendly match on Tuesday, including just one from La Albiceleste, who are still without Lionel Messi.

We’re going to harbor a guess that you were not watching the Bulgarian First League match between CSKA Sofia and Cherno More on Saturday. In all honesty, it probably would have been a waste of time. But it did have one of the most epic own goals we’ve ever seen.
