Christian Pulisic strikes in Champions League with another highlight moment vs. Liverpool

Christian Pulisic scored the opener of AC Milan’s 3-1 Champions League defeat against Liverpool on Tuesday as the American punished the Reds yet again.

The latest Pulisic goal vs Liverpool saw the United States men’s national team forward strike less than three minutes into the contest. Pulisic had a great run down the right side before arrowing a low shot to the bottom corner.

If there’s one team Pulisic loves scoring a great goal against, it’s Liverpool.

Tuesday’s game was his seventh competitive game against the Reds, and it marked his third goal against the EPL giants. He’s also recorded two assists vs. Liverpool in his career.

A trip down memory lane shows that some of Pulisic’s most iconic highlights have come against Liverpool.

Tuesday was his first time facing the club in a Rossoneri shirt and while the result won’t be what Milan hoped for, Pulisic at least has the consolation of another goal to his name.

Pulisic has more Champions League goals than any other American in history as he increased his tally to nine.

Milan’s next Champions League fixture will be against Bayer Leverkusen on Oct. 1. Remember with the new format each club will play eight games in one large league table. The top eight teams automatically advance while teams 9-24 will compete in a playoff to make the round of 16.
