A fantastic Weston McKennie goal vs Man City in the Champions League on Wednesday gave Juventus breathing space in a big 2-0 victory at home.
McKennie came on as a substitute against City, making his first appearance for Juve since Nov. 23. The American midfielder was out due to muscle fatigue.
He marked his return to the field with a literal bang as he and fellow American Timothy Weah combined for a glorious goal in the 75th minute to double their team’s lead.

That’s that McKennie magic right there.
The 26-year-old scored a similar looking goal almost four years to the day for Juventus when they faced Barcelona in the Champions League.

Scoring an acrobatic goal is nothing new to McKennie.
The goal marks McKennie’s second goal in the Champions League this season and his third across all competitions. He also has recorded two assists in Serie A.
Weah now has four goals and three assists for Juventus this season.
McKennie’s latest goal put the dagger in Pep Guardiola’s SEVENTH defeat in City’s last 10 games. The defending Premier League champions have been unrecognizable in the past month and suffered another major loss.
City are now in 22nd place in the Champions League table with only the top 24 advancing to the next round. Guardiola’s side have PSG and Club Brugge left to play.
Juventus sit three points ahead of City and are in a much more comfortable 14th place.
