A plethora of players, pundits, NWSL teams and a select few MLS teams released statements denouncing the court’s decision. Megan Rapinoe gave an emotional nearly 20 minute speech to media the day of the ruling. U.S. Soccer added its own statement shortly before the USWNT kicked off against Colombia.
