The USMNT playing Grenada wasn’t going to draw too many eyes. We even wrote an article explaining to fans why the game was being player in the first place. Friday night at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, wasn’t meant to be anything too special, that is, until the new USA World Cup kit was revealed.

Reactionary sentence
There were rumors that the USMNT was planning something big in Texas. Big names like Gio Reyna, Sergiño Dest and Ricardo Pepi were left off the latest USMNT roster due to injuries and other reasons, but all three players were spotted in Texas in the past week.
Pepi had posted an instagram story indicating he was in Austin while Dest was spotted on San Antonio.

Texas is a great state, but what are the odds that they all just happen to be there when the rest of the team is there? Something had to be up and now we know they were there for the USA World Cup kit.
