It’s Official: USMNT Keeper Matt Turner Is Going From New England To Old England

The New England Revolution made it official Friday, announcing goalkeeper Matt Turner will join Arsenal FC of the Premier League on a summer transfer.

In the move, first reported late last month, the Revs will receive an undisclosed fee pending completion of a standard medical examination. Reports from ESPN and MLSSoccer.com said the Matt Turner transfer fee is $6 million up front with the potential to grow to $10 million with incentives. New England will earn a 10 percent sell-on fee if the London-based Premier League club moves Turner in the future.

The New Jersey native has 21 shutouts in 97 starts since making his MLS debut with New England in 2018.
