Mason Mount And Ben Chillwell Make A Mess Before Real Madrid Vs Chelsea

Both caught partying and breaking Covid-19 protocoles.

This Tuesday, the first semi-final of the current edition of the Champions League will take place: Real Madrid vs Chelsea. However, the match between these two teams, to be played at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, is shrouded in controversy after the British media revealed in the last few hours that three Chelsea players were at a party in England, violating the strict biosecurity rules in this country.

The Sun was the media that reported on this scandal, prior to the London team's trip to Madrid to play the first leg of the Champions League semifinal. According to this website, the players Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount, stars of Thomas Tuchel's team, are the ones involved in this fact reported by some British citizens on April 18, who were the ones that called the police after hearing loud noises in a house nearby.

In the loudy meeting, it was also seen one of the promises of the Blues, Billy Gilmour, who is slowly earning a place in Chelsea's first team.

"They are high-profile figures who have to realize that if they step out of line they will attract attention and cause problems on and off the pitch," an FA source told the British portal. Likewise, the source quoted by The Sun assures that the players, apparently, were not violating covid-19 protocols.

For now, it is not known any kind of sanction for these two players who don’t learn the lesson and continue to be caught by the authorities violating the law. It should be remembered that both Chilwell and Mount are repeat offenders in this type of situation. In England, the rule allows outdoor gatherings of six people in a house, but not indoors, unless they are exempt or in a support bubble.

In America it wouldn’t be an issue since the context is different, but in England there’s still a strict rule for indoor meetings that is taken seriously and might be punished.
