Lionel Messi continues to set attendance records during 2025 — here’s the full list

The 2025 Lionel Messi attendance numbers have been through the roof this season as Inter Miami’s road games draw massive crowds.

Messi and company remain the only undefeated side in Major League Soccer after eight games and have reached the semifinal of the Concacaf Champions Cup. It seems everywhere the Herons go, the people follow to catch a glimpse of Messi.

Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium only seats 21,550 meaning the big numbers have come on the road. Here’s a list of Inter Miami’s road attendance in 2025 so far.

Inter Miami played without Messi on March 2 against the Houston Dynamo. The game at Shell Energy Stadium was a sell-out despite Messi not making an appearance. The Dynamo issued an apology to fans for Messi’s absence.

The lowest attendance on the road this season was the frigid Champions Cup first leg vs. Sporting KC when over 15,000 fans braved the five-degree weather.

In what might be Messi’s final season in MLS with his contract expiring at the end of the year, the Argentine is leaving a massive impression.
