Despite Major League Soccer’s 3-1 victory over the Liga MX All-Stars, the spotlight of the night was shared with the teenage Mexican phenom, who made history as the youngest goalscorer in the event's history.

Just weeks earlier, Mora became the youngest player to start—and win—a major international final, helping Mexico to a dramatic 2-1 victory over the U.S. Men’s National Team in the 2025 Gold Cup final. That performance followed a historic Liga MX debut last year, where he became the youngest player to start in the league’s history at just 15.

The buildup to the All-Star showdown was marked by some disappointment, as Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba of Inter Miami 'opted out' of the game late Thursday afternoon.
Mora plays for boyhood team Club Tijuana in Liga MX and became the youngest-ever player to debut in the Mexican First Division.
