An inconceivable Tigres Femenil goal from midfielder Lizbeth Ovalle on Monday night left the soccer world in awe. Fans everywhere are in agreement: we’ve never seen a goal like this before.
During Tigres’ game vs. Chivas Ovalle opened the scoring in the 75th minute with a goal that must be seen to be believed.
Spain star Jenni Hermoso whipped in a cross toward the six-yard box. Ovalle, with her back to the goal, leapt into the air and flicked the ball toward goal with a backheel effort. Her shot then nestled into the upper-90 of the goal.

That is the greatest goal we’re going to see in 2025. Give Ovalle the Puskas award RIGHT now.
We’re still scratching our heads as to how she pulled that off.
Tigres went on to win the game 2-0.
The 25-year-old Mexico international is a goal scoring machine with 119 goals in 258 appearances for Tigres. She's also scored 20 goals for Mexico in 58 games with the national team.
Ovalle was part of the Concacaf W Gold Cup squad that pulled off a stunning upset against the USWNT last year. She scored the opening goal for Mexico in that game with another beautiful effort.
