Mexico international center back Hector Moreno is on the move. He's leaving behind Mexico teammate Andres Guardado for the sunny, cosmopolitan world of AS Roma.

Moreno has been a rock for PSV these past few seasons and has been due for a move to one of Europe's top leagues. The defensive, tactical nature of Serie A should suit Moreno well.
Roma, meanwhile, are coming off an emotional season that saw them finish second in Serie A with club legend Francesco Totti hanging up his cleats and riding off into the sunset. God help the next person who has to wear/play the number 10 for Roma, because goodness those are large shoes to fill. That will not be Hector Moreno, though, because he is a center back (Editor's note: Although he did score seven league goals last season). He will probably be fine.
