Argentina's eye-catching purple away jersey at this year's Qatar World Cup will also have a powerful message associated with it, with sportswear giant Adidas saying the choice of colour represented gender equality.

The two-times champions will wear a vibrant purple kit for the first time in their history with its fiery graphics inspired by the Sun of May on their national flag.

Already the ugliest World Cup on every conceivable grounds, it seems like Puma has elected to pay homage to that fact with a horrendous new collection of away kits for its stable of competitors in Qatar — Switzerland, Uruguay, Senegal, Serbia, Ghana and Morocco.   

I feel bad for Switzerland. Here they are, qualifying for major tournament after major tournament with a population the size of Virginia, doing things like eliminating France at Euro 2020, and Puma does something like this to them. It's completely uncalled for. 

A wonderful design inspired by pre-Spanish elements takes the leading role in the new Mexico away jersey launched Monday by adidas. 

The kit complements handsomely the green home uniform revealed in July and completes the Mexican national team collection for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. 

We’ve been waiting for the 2022 USMNT World Cup jersey reveal since the U.S. qualified for Qatar 2022 back in March. We’ve seen a variety of supposed leaks and rumors of kits, and The18 even created our own concept uniforms. Yet we still wait for Nike to unveil the uniforms the USMNT will wear at its first World Cup appearance since 2014.

The USMNT World Cup kits should be revealed in the near future, but as of now Nike is making us Americans anxiously wait to see the final result. Several “leaks” have been put out on the internet, with each one only adding to dread.
