Watch: Luka Jović scores late-equalizer against Slovenia

Serbia were able to rescue a dramatic 1-1 draw against Slovenia on Thursday after scoring an equalizer in the last play of the match.

AC Milan’s Luka Jović rose for a header inside the box to defeat Jan Oblak and send Serbia into the third and last match day of Euro 2024 with possibilities of going through to the knock out stages. Slovenian players and fans went into utter heartbreak.

This late equalizer came just seconds before Slovenia were about to claim their first-ever victory at the Euros, with an amazing build-up and finish from Žan Karničnik sending Slovenian fans present at Allianz Arena into a frenzy.

Slovenia will fight, once again, for their first-ever three points against none other than England next Tuesday, hoping to shock the world with a victory over the Three Lions to advance to the Round of 16. Serbia will play Denmark.
