Former Chelsea star and Brazil international will be departing China after playing with Shanghai Port for the past eight years. The 33-year-old announced his farewell on Tuesday and will reunite with his boyhood club in São Paulo.
We’ll be completely honest and say that we didn’t watch too many Chinese Super League games in the past decade. One moment we do remember fondly, and it was Oscar giving absolutely no fucks and just lasering the ball into his opponents.
The incident took place during his first season with Shanghai in 2017. In a game against Guangzhou R&F the Brazilian took out two opposing players by kicking the ball as hard as he could at them.
This didn’t sit well with the Guangzhou players and a massive fight broke out.

While this is the moment we remember most from his time in China, he did on to accomplish great things with Shanghai Port.
The Chinese Super League craze at the end of the 2010’s saw top players flock to China for big contracts. The money and fad ran out quickly, however Oscar stayed loyal to Shanghai and earned heaps of cash.
