Watch 6’7 Peter Crouch Prove He’s Not Just An Awkwardly Big Tree With Dribble Against Arsenal

Big man’s got skills.

There may not be a specific mathematical formula for the phenomenon but it’s widely understood in the world of football that the bigger you are, the less likely it is that you’ll have deft and dazzling foot skills. Footballing giants are generally understood to either to be goalkeepers or towering target forwards who look to just get a head on everything possible. Let’s just say foot skills don’t tend to be a strength. 6’5 Zlatan Ibrahimovic has certainly put a dent in this theory, however, there’s one player who’s massive frame and ballerina-like gracefulness on the ball is even more mystifying.

That man is Peter Crouch. He’s 6’7, 165 pounds (nearly 45 pounds lighter and 2 lbs shorter than Ibra) and frankly, if you’ve ever seen him play, looks like a stick figure in motion. Despite all this, Crouch has shown he’s no slouch when it comes to dribbling. Take a look at the knobby-kneed Englishman hopping his way through Arsenal defenders with quick feet and creativity.
