Nike just revealed the PhantomVSN boots, which will be worn by the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Kevin De Bruyne, Mallory Pugh, Tyler Adams, Fran Kirby and Leon Goretzka. The18 was one of the only media outlets to receive a pair ahead of Tuesday’s launch, and we’ve put together the above video to showcase the boot’s innovative Quadfit mesh bootie, Ghost Lace system and Texturized Nike Flyknit upper.
“PhantomVSN is designed for a player who has mastered the art of navigating tight spaces with an eye for attack and is at ease in a position-less environment and accustomed to multi-directional maneuvers with the ball at their feet,” said Noah Gold, a communications manager with Nike.
The all-black Nike PhantomVSN boots ("Stealth Ops") will be available for purchase on July 18. A gray/red silhouette will be available on July 30 and a red/crimson/gray version will drop on August 6. The PhantomVSN boot replaces the Magista line.
