Get Ready For The Start Of The 2020-21 Premier League Season

Most of us are excited to see a new season of the Premier League — one that’s closer to normal. As with any season, there have been some triumphs and some heartbreaks. The promotion of Fulham, Leeds and West Brom is sure to add a new flare to the league. And saying goodbye to the relegated Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich City left tears in some fans' eyes. Football lovers everywhere are asking themselves when will the next Premier League season start. In short — it starts next month, in September.

When Does Next Premier League Season Start 2020-21

Sept. 12, 2020

The glorious league will grace our soccer-hungry eyes on Saturday, Sept. 12. The season will come to an end May 23, 2021 — but we’re not there yet. Let's just focus on the next Premier League season start, not the end.

Liverpool won the 2019-20 season with 32 wins and three losses. Manchester City came in second with 26 wins and nine losses.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Wolves are expected to be given extra time off before the next Premier League season starts if they advance into the later stages of their European competitions.

There has been no official word yet on when fans will be allowed back into the stadiums. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said fans might be allowed back sometime in October 2020, with new guidelines and rules.

But until then, watching the game on TV screens with the lads will have to do.
