Christian Pulisic Partners With Hershey's And Gets Some Sweet New Cleats

We doubt we'll see Christian Pulisic out on the field anytime soon in these Reese's cleats, but they're still pretty sweet.

Earlier this week, The Hershey Company announced a partnership with the 19-year-old American professional soccer player. Pulisic is a winger for German club Borussia Dortmund and also plays for the United States Men's National Team. He was born and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania and attended Hershey High School, making him a perfect choice to partner with the popular chocolate manufacturing company.

The company invited Pulisic to visit Hershey's "Chocolate World" in Times Square, NYC last Thursday to finalize their partnership and present the celebrated footballer with a special surprise. Pulsic's gift was thematically tied to Hershey's recent launch of its Reese’s brand "Outrageous" bars and it cemented Pulisic and Hershey's partnership.

A custom shoe designer known as "The Shoe Surgeon" literally "Reese-ified" a pair of bright orange Nike Mercurial Vapor 360s for Pulsic. The boots were his "go-to" cleats during the 2017-2018 season.

The new and improved cleats from Hershey's will be worn by Pulisic to advertise Reese's Outrageous bars. The pro-footballer is filled with pride over his partnership with the company, and said, "Growing up in Hershey, the company, its brands, and the people have been something I've always admired." Naturally, Pulsic's favorite candy is Reese's. "It's a dream come true to partner with Hershey's," he said, and it looks like this is a partnership made in candy heaven as this local phenom suits up brandishing his favorite candy.
