Most Sunderland posts are flooded with Mexican fans in the comments and replies.

The movement grew so large that the club put out a statement on X thanking the Mexico fans for all the love.
¡Hola, Mexico! We’re proud to have your passion with us this season - Ha’way the Lads! ❤️

It’s worth noting that Analistas randomly picked Sunderland. There are no El Tri players currently on the roster. In fact, a Mexican player has NEVER played for Sunderland before.
The alliance between Sunderland and El Tri is 100% random, but you’d never know that judging from the passion Mexican supporters are showing online.
