Inter Miami’s 3-1 victory in the Champions Cup vs. LAFC on Wednesday was packed to the brim with drama including a skirmish in the final minutes. The Inter Miami LAFC fight broke out in the 89th minute after a hard foul on Lionel Messi.
LAFC defender Marlon hit-sticked Messi near midfield which resulted in a chaotic fight between the two sides.
Messi rolled over on the ground four times, Jordi Alba attempted to throw punches, Luis Suárez of all people tried to play peacemaker and somewhere completely away from the action Maxi Falcon got into a wrestling match with Eddie Segura.

That’s probably the hardest challenge Messi has received since arriving in Miami.
No red cards were shown during the scuffle, however there’s a chance Concacaf reviews the incident and dishes out fines or potential bans.
Inter Miami have already been fined this season for violating Major League Soccer’s hands to the face/head/neck of an opponent rule. Messi and Suárez were fined an undisclosed amount after breaking the rule in their MLS opener vs. NYCFC.
