BREAKING: Ronaldo Makes Decision On Portugal Future Post-World Cup

On Tuesday evening at the Portuguese Football Federation's "Gala Quinas de Ouro 2022," Cristiano Ronaldo used an award acceptance speech to outline his international future with the national team.

It was rumored that the 37-year-old, who turns 38 in February, would hang up his international boots after the 2022 World Cup. Ronaldo's accomplished almost everything with A Seleção as football's greatest international scorer on the men's side with 117 goals in 189 appearances, and he reached the heights with Portugal's crowning glory at the international level, the Euro 2016 title.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo Retire In 2022 After The World Cup?

However, the Manchester United striker revealed that Qatar 2022 will not be his international swan song. Ronaldo confessed that he's targeting an appearance at the 2024 European Championship in Germany and beyond.

Although Ronaldo's club career remains a subject of intense conjecture and discourse, his place with Portugal is unquestioned. The man has a return of 15 goals over his last 19 caps and strikes fear in heart of defenses around the world.
