Video: Giovani Dos Santos Gets Punk’d By Steven Gerrard And Robbie Keane

The LA Galaxy have all the pieces in place for a great 2016 season. The offensive star power of Giovani dos Santos, Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane has been complimented by the additions of Belgian defensive stalwart Jelle Van Damme, English great Ashley Cole and kung fu master Nigel de Jong. On a side note, they’ll also be rocking some seriously classic looking kits throughout the 2016 MLS season.

So, with the strongest looking squad in the history of MLS, what’s left for the LA Galaxy to do before they begin their destruction of all challengers, dismantling opponents like lambs to the slaughter? Well, to prank Giovani dos Santos so bad that Robbie Keane has to ask if he has s*** himself, of course.

Donning strange ensembles of flannel button downs, scarfs and tinted shades, a look which dos Santos admits resembles every LA Galaxy supporter, Keane and Gerrard interrupt an autograph session with the El Tri star while getting all up in his personal space.

It won’t go down alongside that time Justin Timberlake cried on Punk’d or any episode of Tracy Morgan’s Scare Tactics!, but it’s the best MLS-based-autograph-session-disguise prank I’ve EVER seen.

I would’ve liked to have seen Gerrard and Keane carry out this prank to a more extreme degree though. They could’ve abducted Giovani dos Santos, carried him out the door and put him on a plane after purchasing a one way ticket to Europe, where everyone says he should be playing.

Just imagine dos Santos's confusion after deplaning in Bucharest, Romania. That would have been something else. Maybe Rio Ferdinand can reboot his now classic Rio's World Cup Wind-Ups and make this a reality. Then his catchphrase "You got merk'd!" would hold some real consequence.
